The energy meter block retrieves data from the energy meter. The energy meter is part of the energy set.

The energy meter block allows you to measure the amount of charge, input and power consumption of the electrical components connected to the energy meter. You can also compare the data to a threshold to get a logic (true or false) output.

Using the port selector at the top of the block, make sure that the sensor port number (1/2/3/4) matches the port on the EV3 block to which the energy meter is connected.

　

Use the mode selector to select the mode of the block. The available inputs and outputs are different for each mode.
